Sol A Solo
This project entailed developing the visual identity of a
cultural festival held in the Estufa Fria of Lisbon, a
renowned botanical garden and event center. The intention was
to create an overarching and compelling system of branding
that captures the festival theme while calling on its
multicultural audience. Based on the natural scenery of the
surroundings, the design incorporates visual elements such as
leaves and stem, which symbolizes growth, oneness, and
imagination. These organic forms were formed into a unique
visual vocabulary that can easily communicate with other
software, e.g. posters, tickets, wristbands, and merchandise.
The result is a contemporary, visually striking identity that
symbolizes the essence of the carnival and assists in engage
on multiple touchpoints, forming a lasting experience for
participants.
